Peak to Peak

On the 19th May 2023 Chaz and Paul will be embarking on 108 mile trek from the top of Pen-Y-Fan mountain in the Brecon Beacons to the top of Snowdon in North Wales. Carrying all of our supplies on our backs and camping on route we will be raising awareness for Mens Mental Health and Wellbeing and also raising money too. If you want to enter a prize draw whilst donating then please visit our Crowdfunder Page. If you just feel like donating there is also the option of our Donation tab in our website navigation menu above.

We will grab loads of pics and videos along the way. If it is interesting enough we will pull them together into somewhat of a video presentation.

Day 1

Day 1 will see us starting early at the foot of Pen-Y-Fan. We will climb Pen-Y-Fan then head down Jacob’s ladder towards Brecon. From there we will head north along Brecon Rd to Builth Wells. Picking up the A470 we will walk on to camp in Rhayder.

The map below shows our route from the top of Pen-Y-Fan.

The map below will display our  live position on the day. It will go live the morning of that day and should track us throughout.

Day 2

Day 2 we will wake up early and refreshed ( I am sure) in Rhayder. We will head off up the B4518 and follow that all day to Llan some 25 miles away. That is going to be a long road to walk.

The map below will display our  live position on the day. It will go live the morning of that day and should track us throughout.

Day 3

Day 3 will be a short 29 miles up to Snowdownia National park. We will continue to follow the B4518 up to the national park. Once there we will hang a left and pick up the A470 once again and follow that all the way up to Bronaber.

The map below will display our  live position on the day. It will go live the morning of that day and should track us throughout.

Day 4

Day 4 is the final push. Good news for us is it is only 25 miles! As the crow flies and then Rhyd-Du path. Then follow the tracks back down into Llanberis. Finally we will grab a taxi up to Bangor and Enterprise car our way back to Barry (those miles are not included). Finish up late evening with Tea and Medals.

The map below will display our  live position on the day. It will go live the morning of that day and should track us throughout.
